K-1’ers spent time today swinging, running, and playing outside while also reading, writing, and creating inside. One student particularly enjoyed swinging time while another is fascinated by the book, Mr. Popper’s Penguins.

Waynflete faculty gathered in the student center on Wednesday afternoon to learn some HR updates before spending the afternoon in”Uncommon Time.” These several days throughout the year are set aside for teachers to explore PD interests of their own choosing.
4-5’ers spent time in homestations after lunch today researching IP’s and silently reading self-selected books.
Lower School parents met with teachers on Friday to review student progress over the middle portion of the school year. While it snowed outside, parents and teachers shared insights, celebrated strengths, identified challenges, and collaborated to confirm goals for each and every student. As students leave Lower School, 4-5 students lead parents and teachers through this process.
