Japanese with Makiki

EC and K-1 students met with Waynflete parent Makiko this morning to learn basic greetings, letters, and numbers. They learned that there are three different letter systems in Japan. One system has 2000 kanji (characters) and students nerd are supposed to learn 1006 of them by the end of elementary school.
