Interested 4-5 students gathered with Linda at lunch on Friday to brainstorm ideas for Spirit Week later in mid-May.
2-3’ers designed and then decorated their bedroom layouts in the Studio this morning. They were psyched to add some color to these creations. These designs are part of their study of Vincent Van Gogh’s bedrooms.
2nd graders began their genetics and reproduction study by learning about and labeling the different parts of a daffodil.
3rd graders began their health study of first aid by practicing when and how to contact 911 in an emergency. Students role played conversations and discussed scenarios.
4-5’ers learned about the math behind running a restaurant from 4-5 parent Figgy. She talked about paying invoices and employees, setting prices for menu items, and measuring ingredients. 4-5 students are beginning a math project where they design restaurants in collaborative teams.
EC and 2-3 buddies decorate the upper playground with chalk during buddy time this morning.
