Wabanaki!

As 2-3 students dive deeper into their study of the Wabanaki people and culture, we welcomed Passamaquoddy David Moses Bridges to the classroom.  David is a Passamaquoddy birchbark artist and canoe builder who is a Wabanaki historian.  He shared native stories and Wabanaki history, guided the students through birchbark carvings, and even taught them how to play a “snow snake” game on the lower field.
