The entire Waynflete community gathered in the big gym this morning to donate our collected goods to the Wayside Food Pantry. As of 3pm, the finalized weight total was still to be determined. Needless to say, the generosity from our community was clearly on display.
4-5 students spread across campus this morning during Specials classes. PE Students collaborated and problem solved in teams playing Shipwreck in the big gym and KIN Ball in Sills. Choral students harmonized together as a large group preparing for their winter concert in January.
EC students gather in Sills Hall this morning for some yoga. Students and teachers followed their instructor’s directions even managing a downward facing dog!
K-1 students enjoy some musical storytelling in Music class and creative expression in Movement this morning, despite the wet, stormy weather outside. Later, students let some steam off during recess.
4-5 students excitedly warm up for a game of KIN Ball in Sills gym during PE this morning.
EC students visited the Fore River Campus on Tuesday to scavenge like lobsters do for specific objects on their observation sheet. The goal was to be on a scavenger hunt! It was a beautiful but windy morning, and despite the inherent challenges of wearing their winter gear, students had a successful experience.
2-3 students settle into story creation starring their tide pool specimens. Students develop the setting and characters to tell a story that either involves a problem or a journey. Their tide pool specimen stars in these creative and detail-specific narrations.
